Halloween is one of the best times of year for me... I mean, how couldn't it be? Costumes, candy, and parties galore! Some of my favorite things!

I continue to ask you to be patient with me as I balance the elektra site with the making of a better page on bandcamp.com... Along with schoolwork and a bunch of other stuff (including rehearsals for an upcoming musical!)

To make it up for you, here's a music video that I haven't posted yet... I think.

Elektra, where have you been!? You suck! You say you're going to remodel the website and then disappear with no updates...

You suck more than a sucky sucker of suckyness.

I know. I know.

Stop talking to yourself, girl.

The reason I haven't been around is I thought about making an entirely new website... it didn't work out. That and I'm a lazy bitch who doesn't update.

But I'm getting back to working on stuff for you! In the meantime, I'll try to post some arty stuff or something.

In case you haven't noticed, my website is gaining and losing a bunch of pages right now. That's because I'm trying to reorganize my site so it'll be more convenient and 20% cooler. Please bear with me.

In the meantime, I'll try to put up my videos of songs that I have so far for you...

Soooo.... It's Valentine's Day tomorrow.

I'm thinking about posting a sappy love song or something to celebrate. Or I might just complain about how I'm worried that my boyfriend isn't going to get me jack shit...

Oh well.

Anyways. Cookie? (>^.^)> O  <(o.O<)

I never did record any Christmas songs, did I?

Oh well, happy new years!

The beginning of this year brought hell to me as I learned that the Barnes and Noble store closest to me (the next closest one is an hour and a half away!) had to close due to high rent in the mall it was at. This made me have to dash there to use my B&N gift card that I got for Christmas before it was too late, only to find that the store had -17 copies of the book I wanted. (How is that even possible?)

I ended up having to order it online. Luckily, the book is supposed to arrive by UPS sometime today.

Arriving home from B&N, I was confronted with a problem that was brought to its worse. For a while now, my parents have known that we've had two water leaks in our house, which hiked up our water bills. Trying to get to them so they can be fixed by a plumber, my dad started breaking his back digging.

However, the digging revealed something much worse than we expected. Water was pouring out of the ground like a geyser!

My dad decided to keep this huge leak from continuing its reign of chaos, and shut down the water supply to our house.

So I've had to live without basic plumbing, the redneck way (damn!) for the past few days. Today brings my book AND the plumber to hopefully change everything.

So, 2012 is already chaotic for me, and its not even close to the "end of the world" yet...

My celebration of getting water back today is posting a new song about my first day back at school after break, in which we took a walk down to Granite Creek Park and drew some nature scenes based on what we saw. The song is about what my senses picked up while sitting on a rock in the middle of the creek, while flashing a smile every once in a while to my boyfriend from his own position.

Granite Creek brings up great memories, since the park is where I first really talked to Matt, and is where I fell in love with him.

What's happening, loveydoves? Haven't given any updates to my page for a while. You mad? Sorry. I've been busy with school and writing songs. I have a lot in my collection. So much that I don't know which ones to upload. I'll have to make sure to get some up later.

Christmas is approaching so I might have to record a christmas song or two and post them on this page and maybe youtube.

The project is coming along rather slowly, but I'm not giving up on it. I'm reconsidering the song list and album cover. I've been going crazy drawing different album covers for different types of albums. I might have to post some.

I've been working on some crazy song writing inspirations, and I want to share them all with you other than the lyrics, so I'm hoping to take the time to buy some compact discs, burn and customize them with my art and songs, and sell them for cheap to friends, family, and schoolmates.

This is probably not the most exciting thing when it comes to the world of cd making, but my inspiration, Kimberly Freeman, started out about the same way with her early albums. I personally think that it's a really good idea.

Now this idea is just beginning, so don't expect anything to pop up right away, but I'll keep everyone informed!
